"Searching For Anne" is a collection of paintings and stories inspired by my wonder-filled adventure to Prince Edward Island in search of the magical spirit of L.M Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables books.

We all wish we could spare more time for gallery and museums visits, to be transported to another world and be creatively re-inspired by the sheer beauty of story and art. Peekaboo! is an immersive, online gallery + storytelling event that brings the exhibit and experience to you. A dreamy little breather in your day. Take 5 mins, sit down with a cup of tea and enjoy. Just like a real gallery exhibit, all featured works will be on sale for a limited time.

PART 1: LISTEN TO THE INTRODUCTION:

My mission for Peekaboo! is to provide a virtual space for conversation and meaning-making around art and storytelling that will hopefully inspire us to see ourselves and our world a little differently.

I've prepared three audio guides beginning with The Introduction above to help you navigate Peekaboo! so be sure to listen to them for a more immersive experience. Enjoy!

PART 2: LISTEN TO THE STORY:

In Part 2, I'll be narrating a story to set the theme of this Peekaboo! series along with some questions for you to ponder.

PART 3: LISTEN TO THE MEANING:

In this final part, I'll be explaining my interpretation of The Story and how it relates to the featured pieces above. I do recommend sharing your thoughts below before you listen to this part if you prefer not to be colored by my perception.

“Sometimes since I've been in the garden I've looked up through the trees at the sky and I have had a strange feeling of being happy as if something was pushing and drawing in my chest and making me breathe fast. Magic is always pushing and drawing and making things out of nothing. Everything is made out of magic, leaves and trees, flowers and birds, badgers and foxes and squirrels and people. So it must be all around us. In this garden - in all the places.”The Secret Garden, Frances Hodgson Burnett
