How is this similar/different from Walk the Labyrinth?
Walk the Labyrinth is an immersive online expedition that goes deep into the world of the Labyrinth of Enchantment, it’s perfect for artists and creatives looking to find their way back to their creative center. If Walk the Labyrinth were a vacation you wish you can stay forever, The Enchanted Explorers’ Club is coming home and finding ways to recreate the magic in the everyday. It’s the foundation and shapes the monthly Club wonder-adventures, especially in the first year.
Will you be running Walk the Labyrinth live again?
I’m not sure yet. While I absolutely love the immersiveness of the live Expedition, the schedule is very intense and one that I haven’t been able to find time for between painting and wonder-toolmaking. On the other hand, there are parts of it that past explorers (as well as myself) wish we have in our daily lives – kinship of fellow explorers, the regular explorers’ gatherings, and the conversations and shared inspirations of enchanted exploring, which is the wonder gap that I hope for the Club to fill. It’s even possible that Walk the Labyrinth would eventually become part of the Club membership, perhaps at a premium level. These are questions I’m hoping my Founding Members and I will address together this first year, IF, the Club becomes a real thing!
What if I’ve already taken Walk the Labyrinth?
If you’ve been part of Walk the Labyrinth when it was live, or if you backed it when it was offered as a solo expedition during the deck Kickstarter, you’re automatically a Founding Member and will be able to join us (if you choose to), at no cost for an entire year, hurray! It’s my gift to you for being early supporters of the Labyrinth Work.
I already have your deck and book. Would this provide anything new?
The Wonder-Walking Deck will play a big part in your monthly wonder-adventures, and I’m sure I’ll be pulling from the Explorers’ Journal for ideas here and there. However, the Club provides a gentle structure especially if you need need help building a habit of wonder and playful creativity, alongside your fellow Enchanted Explorers. Also, Club wonder-adventures are shaped by seasonal and annual themes in my creative practice, so they stay relevant with the times.
Do I need the Wonder-Walking Deck and Guidebook to be a Enchanted Explorer?
It’s not necessary though it’s nice to have if you want to branch off and explore tangents on your own. Your monthly wonder-adventure plan will include clear instructions on how to use the cards for your month’s wonder-walks.
Do I have to be an artist to be an Enchanted Explorer?
Nope! The Club (IF it becomes real) is for you if you’re looking for more nature, magic and creativity in your everyday.
