Turn: God is in the Details

A Miniature World

Anyone who is wise enough to have lived and achieved to old age would declare, quite vehemently, that resolutions cannot be met if one’s goals are not specific enough. To avoid the pie-in-the-sky mind that (often) threatens to hang over my idealism, I have outlined the below:

1. To make a living doing what I love and am passionate about, and in doing so, continue to flesh out my own unique personal style

  • Complete the TreeSpace Studio website-which includes mission statement, services and portfolio
  • Craft a viable business plan and know that it is ever-evolving
  • Determine niche and target audience with contact information
  • Craft my polaroid flyer and send out to the above
  • Continue to explore my interests-painting, photographing, metalsmithing

2. To improve focus, discipline and follow-through in all my endeavors

  • Commit and persist on Julia Cameron’s program
  • Commit and persist on the morning  journals
  • Set and follow through on daily goals to improve focus and and discipline

3. To strengthen my core and finally develop a mind-and-body sharpening physical routine

  • Commit and perform daily core-strengthening exercises as prescribed by chiro, 10 mins a day
  • Explore cardiovascular options
  • Find ways to incorporate physical activity in daily chores

5. To volunteer within my community and connect with like-minded folks

  • Determine local volunteering focus and sign up for it

6. To continue to find ways to cherish my loved ones

  • Stay connected and communicated with loved ones, find little ways to show it

7. To sharpen memory skills and train my right/left brain skills

  • Engage more frequently in games like GO, scrabble, etc
  • Commit and persist on watercolor journal

8. To read and finish more books

  • To read a few pages everyday on a committed book (s) till finished

9. To eliminate the petty diversions that numb everyday life

  • (repeat)Limit frivolous surfing to increase actual productivity time
  • Decrease negativity to maintain all 100 creative horses
